Excellent Organic & Specialty Foods! The French Pastries are magnificent and they have a bar & a restaurant, good for a happy hour with your co- workers.

Love this store so many nice items on display, fresh, delicious and tasty.

This place is great and I love all the options for food available. I would suggest adding door people for this guest who have no idea what this concept is about. I asked the bartender how to get food and what to do, I then returned and sat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine. The following hour was guest after guest asking how this place works. Just something to think about. This is a great place to get a quick and cheap bite.

Thank you! Thought I would have to live on burgers and donuts during my visit to Houston until I found your store. Yes, the food I like to eat. Delicious, wide, healthy range beautifully arranged.

What a selection of speciality foods: chocolates, desserts, cheeses, breads (lots of gluten free option), pickles, sauces with a salad bar and food bar to pick up wraps, sushi, pizza and celebrate it all with a cake or pastry. They even have Baci chocolate (I have been looking for it for while).

Phoenicia is such a great grocery store. The huge selection of products is impressive. Big variety of fresh products. The deli and ready food is delicious with a place to sit and eat. Phoenicia has a very impressive selection of imported food, chocolates, wines, snacks and much much more. You can always find something new to try there. Love this place.

Amazing place! So many groceries, mostly Mediterranean but amazing variety of local and other cuisines, a cafe, hot food, a salad bar, olive bar... The actual bar looked fun too. It was busy but the lines went fast! Great choice for groceries or a quick bite.

Neat little market hidden in the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston. What a nice little place! This market has a surprisingly good selection of fresh foods. The vegetables here are uncharacteristically large. The little food shop there was nice and the food there was great. If you can find a spot to park, this is a great stop for groceries and lunch!

There are so many great Mediterranean foods like pistachio saffron Turkish delight, falafel and shwarma.It's the only grocery store downtown so it's a little pricey but the quality and variety can't be beat though. They have freshly prepared foods far superior to regular supermarkets.The staff are friendly too. The guy behind the deli counter saw me carrying a whole bunch of stuff and offered to get me a basket.Great store to wonder around too. I went for the quality stuff, I stayed for the AC.

Love coming to Phoenicia! The grocery story has a great selection of specialty foods. Also, the wine selection upstairs includes hard to find wines from interesting regions (like Georgia, the country). Also, the bulk spices are the best quality and price that I’ve found anywhere.

A great place to pick up supplies before a picnic in the green. This has everything you might need. Cheese, wine, coffee, hummus, pita, wraps, delicious.

What an unsuspecting, amazingly, awesome speciality food store!! I was a bit overwhelmed and unsure how things worked but after taking my time and selecting my lunch, I ate the most delectable lamb shank with sides I’ve have in years!! Nothing needed additional seasoning, everything was made to perfection! The portion size was enough for 2 and the prices were a steal for what you get!! If you’re in the Houston area visiting this is the perfect lunch spot or just in general for snacks, sweets and all the good things you’d like! If I could give more stars... I WOULD!!

Everything looked so good and fresh. Hot, prepared foods. Sandwiches. The bakery had beautiful cookies and pastries. I bought some cookies.

All through COVID-19 closure this place has been there supplying yummies non-stop. When there were shortages on things, I managed to find toilet paper, hand sanitizer, bleach... got to love this place!One of my favorite grocery stores. Love the Mediterranean selections here. One of my must here every time is nuts. They have a huge variety of nuts. I love Turkish pistachio and it is hard to find anywhere else. Here there is always an ample amount. These pistachios are smaller but so much more flavorful than the regular pistachio. The deli selection is another must. You can get the little yummie so you get to try it without commit to a bunch. The seafood salads are always my pick. Also the smoky mushrooms. Oh they are amazing. Happy eating

I. just. don’t. know. what. to. say. I think I could live in this place and never need to go anywhere else. Yes, they have everything you could ever need! A great produce selection, lots and lots of pure juice choices, beer, wine, cigars, and I counted at least 48 varieties of coffee beans. It’s also a good place to grab a bite to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There’s a bakery, a bistro, a salad & olive bar, hot soup, fresh pizza, a Mediterranean counter with shawarma, falafel, and wraps.After wandering around in awe for what seemed like an eternity, I finally decided it was time to move on. I headed toward the door and just as I was walking out, I stumbled upon one more discovery. They. have. a. Bar. WHAT???? It’s a bar/restaurant AND they have live music on some nights. This place really does have errythang!I’m amazed…Oh yeah, they also do catering.

This place has endless possibilities, whether you're looking for a good place to pickup lunch or grab a drink at the MKT bar, I can ensure you that you won't be disappointed. They host several events at the bar on a weekly basis. Also, they have a vast variety of imported good and wine (upstairs). Not to mention the delicious yummy desserts, but one thing I will say is that their coffee is not the greatest. Overall a hidden gem in the middle of downtown.

There is something for all, including a salad bar, hot plates, great pastries, (baklava)etc. Maybe you want to try Turkish coffee at the coffee bar or some ice cream. Place has all kind of activities. Free Parking is on the McKinney side entrance. Have Fun.

Great grocery store located adjacent to the Four Seasons hotel on Lamar. Wide selection of ready-made foods as well. Some items in the store can be found on the MKT Bar restaurant menu but for cheaper (chilli, for example). They have cookies in the bakery area that are to die for!

This is a fabulous grocery store. They have food from all over the world and lots of cool kitchen gadgets. I always have to make a stop here anytime I go Downtown to visit Discovery Green.

Phoenicia is a real Houston treasure, from their original store way out on Westheimer to this downtown location, Phoenicia provides downtown with a much needed market and amazing deli. They have a hot food bar, a deli cold case, an amazing salad and olive bar, soups, a bakery, coffee as well as groceries and more. I love their falafel sandwiches. This is a great stop to eat before an event at Toyota Center or the House of Blues, you can also get food to take to Discovery Green. Free parking in their garage (2nd and 3rd levels of the garage.) A must visit if you've never been or if you love Mediterranean foods.

This last weekend was my first time to visit Phoenicia Specialty Foods. We were staying at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston, and Phoenicia was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We shopped for lunch, and picked up some amazing cheeses, olives, sun dried tomatoes, hummus, mini bell peppers stuffed with goodness, and homemade pita chips. The variety of specialty foods was amazing, and the smell in the store was intoxicating. I will definitely be visiting Phoenicia soon to stock up on some of their specialty meats. If you haven't been, and your in the downtown Houston area, you need to make this one of your stops.

My favorite grocery store in downtown! Great quality of products and fresh food, although a bit overpriced compared to other stores. You feel that everyone working here is taking care of the store to be at its best to the customers. Also, don’t miss their Shawarma (and other fresh food as well), its amazing!

This is so so so good .... go inside and check from hundred of options. Heavy on arabic and Mediterranean food options. I had lamb and was delicious ....

Their chicken shawarma is so good, I ate it all before I took some pictures! I come here everytime I'm in downtown. They have customer parking which is important because otherwise it would be too expensive to park to grab food. I also get me feta cheese from this shop.

Selection is great at this store, but ready-made foods have gone down some. I used to LOVE the curry chicken salad snack box with crackers but they started cutting the chicken into larger (huge) hunks that won't fit on a cracker. Then it seems they also used less mixture, which makes the chicken salad dry. Cutting costs, I guess -- but to the detriment of a really great recipe. Phoenicia is a bit hit or miss, but when they're on, they're on.

Great store with excellent food and selections of middle Eastern and European food. Restaurant is great for a quick meal too.

Good food. I love the salmon. They serve big portions. 1plate probably can feed 2. Breakfast is really good too. You running to a celebrity or a Houston sports player pretty often

They have a great selection of foreign items (Europe and Middle Eastern). I like buying their European chocolates. I ordered their chocolate hazelnut gelato and it was yummy!

Awesome store with awesome items. Tons of variety and I felt like I walked into a cute market in another country. Items from all over the world at fair prices. Everything is fresh and there are gluten and diary free options to choose from. I will be back!

I was staying at the Marriott Marquis and was walking around the neighborhood and stumbled across this store. I’ve never heard of it but it should definitely be a must stop if you are in the area. Such a big variety of unique things. Tons of imported foods from all over, a huge olive bar, cheese counter, coffee shop, and so much more!! I will be back for sure!
